Located alongside the gentle flow of the Amo Chhu River, Rangtse Ecolodge is a fresh addition to Haa’s upcoming eco-tourism endeavors. Established near the Amo Chhu Bridge, the ecolodge is clearly visible from the opposite side of the river as you meander along the winding road toward Rangtse – a sight that captures the essence of peaceful countryside living of Southern Haa.

Rangtse Ecolodge is thoughtfully positioned on the sandy banks beside the Amo Chhu, offering guests immediate and immersive access to nature. The ecolodge has 2 VIP Tents, 18 smaller tents and 2 special rooms that consist of a bedroom, living room and attached toilet. Guests using the tents can access their 2 outdoor toilets. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or exploring with friends, the lodge can definitely accommodate your needs.
At the heart of the ecolodge lies a dedicated gathering area, a warm and communal spot where guests can relax, share meals, and connect. Adjacent to this space is the kitchen acting as the culinary hub where local flavors and hearty meals bring people together. The atmosphere is informal and inviting — encouraging guests to linger, chat, and enjoy the company of fellow travelers.

One of Rangtse Ecolodge’s standout features is its pavilion-like structure overlooking the river. This elevated platform is more than just a lookout — it serves as a quiet place for guests to admire the beauty of the Amo Chhu or maybe engage in bird watching. The sunset view from the pavilion is a must watch-out.
Rangtse Ecolodge embodies the spirit of eco-friendly tourism along with supporting rural communities and sustainable livelihoods.
