Aum Pem Dema’s homestay is located in Talung, north of Haa. Their house lies just above the road and is clearly visible. New painted, the homestay stands out and looks inviting. Although the hostess, under whose name the homestay began, passed away, her daughter has been handling the homestay ever since. We were fortunate to try pillu at their homestay and of course the quintessential kapchi. The daughter of the house showed us the right way to enjoy kapchi with butter and sugar. They also have a variety of souvenirs that you can purchase that are made of yak hair. They have clean and comfortable rooms and the best views of the valleys.
